The Breathing Room©

This Breathing Room© page is where you’ll find Big AL’s range of breathwork offerings.

It’s both a guide to the different types of breath classes she offers and the name of her own signature classes. When you attend a Breathing Room session or series, you’re joining an ongoing scheduled practice with topics of key importance to Big AL’s work.

The Breathing Room© Sessions

These drop-in sessions are offered both online and in-person. They consist of guided breathwork and meditation shaped by the ideas, energy, and spirit of the moment. Themes reflect today’s cultural currents, Big AL's perspectives and draw from the challenges and inspiration of class participants.

Corporate Events and Series

Big AL brings music, visualization and the power of the breath into the workplace for corporate or team reset intensives—half-day, evening or weekly events. Soma works fast as a tool to replace burnout with coherence, cultivating practices that work both inside and outside the workplace. These sessions translate stress physiology into something practical and immediately usable, without forcing vulnerability or performance.

21-Day Awakening Journeys

Soma Breath's 21-Day Awakening Journey helps you achieve your first milestone towards your dream life targets using the APD (Average Perfect Day) guided meditation technique. The APD method uses the power of your creative imagination to create a vision, embodied feeling and sense of clarity about your dream life targets. 

The Awakening is a powerful intention-setting breathwork practice that will help create unstoppable momentum, motivation and drive towards creating the life you envision.

Summer 2026.

The Breathing Room© Series

These series contain exploration of a specific theme over 4, 6 or 8 weeks, weaving in science, myth, history, and even pop culture. The goal is to flip perspective, deepen  understanding and the capacity to respond to the world with open-hearted curiosity, calm and focus. These session are offered both online and in-person.

Special Events

Events are contained experiences with a clear arc and intention. Examples include Peak State Workshops for entrepreneurs, athletes, creatives, leaders; Creativity & Flow Nights for artists, dancers, writers, musicians; Nature-Based Soma Sessions in forests, by water, with minimal talk to let the body and landscape do the teaching; A kickoff for your wedding; Closing ceremonies for your festival. 

Retreats

Big AL's Soma retreats are an intentional pause from the noise—time set aside to reset the nervous system and reclaim the truth that you are loved, free, and abundant. Through guided Soma Breath sessions, music, and carefully structured integration, participants move beyond surface relaxation into real physiological and psychological coherence. Retreats often include practitioners from other fields of expertise. These may include, but are not limited to, yoga, massage,  art therapy, sound baths, movement. These retreats are immersive and held in beautiful venues or natural settings, locally and abroad.
